Eckert Life Science Accelerator (ELSA), a fully-owned affiliate of Eckert Wagniskapital und Frühphasenfinanzierung GmbH, is a Berlin-based life science incubator with three decades of success as a venture capital provider. ELSA invests primarily in biotech, pharmaceutical, or medtech start-ups who are in need of seed or A-round venture capital financing. It actively supports founders on their way to valuable and sustainable business models. ELSA is an accredited business angel with the European Angels Fund and has acted numerous times as lead investors for public institutions on the German state and federal level.
